I’m an architect and sustainability professional. Recently I experienced a seizure and was diagnosed with brain cancer. It is a very slow-growing type that been been in my head for for years but presenting no symptoms. It became “evident” when I had a seizure (and a consequent MRI) at a dinner party. It is not operable, but neither is it life threatening at least at present. The plan is to keep an eye on it.

This blog is an attempt to track the process and progress and record my impressions of the whole thing in a way that helps me think about what it all means. (And to help my Mom keep track as well…) The story starts here.

(The header image is Greenland glacier I shot while returning from a trip to Amsterdam. It seems somehow emblematic of the flow, stress, and unpredicability of the brain.)
